I spent today at the Louvre. It is an amazing, yet overwhelming, collection. I spent the six euros on the audioguide, which did a good job of informing and illuminating, but not boring, me.

Because one must I visited the Mona Lisa which is bigger than most rock stars apparently.

It is impressive, but with the amount of amazing artwork at the museum it seems strange that this one work has captured the world’s imagination for so long.

We are meeting a friend of Heidi’s at a square that was just closed because of a suspicious suitcase. Hopefully it will reopen soon. From there it is dinner in Paris tonight and some sightseeing tomorrow.
